REPORT AN ACCIDENT

Did an accident involving an AWP or an MCWP happen at your workplace? Do your bit for safety. Report it on this page at the IPAF Accident Database.

IPAF is calling on all manufacturers, rental companies, contractors and users to report any known fatal and serious accidents involving AWPs or MCWPs worldwide.

Information entered into the database will be kept strictly confidential and will be used solely for the purposes of analysis and improving safety.

About the IPAF Accident Database

Aerial work platforms (AWPs) and mast climbing work platforms (MCWPs) can make work at height more efficient, effective and safer.
There is currently no one mechanism/collection point for reporting and measuring serious accidents involving AWPs and MCWPs, and there is no definitive data as to the number and main causes of accidents.
This project addresses these gaps. The accident database builds a comprehensive record of known accidents, in one location and in one common format. Data gathered enables IPAF to analyze and look for common trends, and propose possible actions to further improve and promote the safe use of powered access worldwide.
